Shahi Methi Masala

Ingredients

  • Methi (fenu greek leaves) 1 bowl (boiled and crushed)
  • Palak (spinach) 1 bowl (boiled and crushed)
  • Tomato 1 (big) cut small pieces
  • Cumin seeds 1 tea spoon
  • Oil 1 big table spoon
  • Ginger- garlic- chilli paste 1-1-1 tea spoon
  • Garam masala
  • Onion 1 finely chopped
  • Cashew nuts (boiled)
  • Paneer 100 grams
  • Turmeric powder ½ tea spoon
  • Red chlli powder 1 tea spoon
  • Dhana jeera powder 1 tea spoon
  • Cinnamon powder 1 tea spoon
  • Black pepper powder 1 tea spoon
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in fry pan. Add cumin seeds and onion. Roast it. Add tomato and roast. When it cooked, add methi pulp and ginger garlic paste. When oil separated, add palak pulp, salt and water. Add kitchen masala (turmeric, red chilli powder, dhana jeera powder, black powder, cinnamon powder 1-1-1 tea spoon).
  • Add brown gravy.
  • (Onion and boiled cashew crushed and roast in oil.)
  • Add some water. Cook it till oil becomes separate.
  • Add paneer garam masala.
  • Put in bowl and garnish with grated paneer.
  • Serve with paratha.
