Kadhai Babay Poartoes

Ingredients

  • Baby potatoes 8 to 10(boiled with salt)
  • Garlic 1 tea spoon
  • Green Chilli 1 tea spoon
  • Onion chopped 2 table spoons
  • Brown paste 3 table spoons (roast onion pieces with little oil and paste it). It is for aroma.
  • Tomato 2 cut in small pieces.
  • Red capsicum
  • Kasoori methi (dry fenu greak leaves) 2 tea spoon
  • Coriander leaves 2 tea spoons
  • Oil 3 table spoons
  • Red chilli powder 1 tea spoon
  • Garam masala
  • Turmeric powder ¼ tea spoon
  • Salt to taste (for gravy)
  • Dhana seeds and 2 red chillis powder (roast and crushed)

Instructions

  • Fry the red capsicum in oil till it becomes crispy. Put out the capsicum in other plate.
  • Add garlic, green chilli and onion. Roast it till onion becomes pink.
  • Add onion brown paste for aroma. Add tomato's pieces. Roast till it becomes gravy. Shut with a lid. Cook for 2 minutes. When it becomes gravy, add dhana chilli powder. Coriander leaves, kasoori methi. Add baby potatoes. Cook them for 2 minutes. Garnish with crispy red capsicum.
