Grated Raw Papaya
Ingredients
- 400 grams raw papaya
- 1 lime
- 2 table spoons oil
- ½ tea spoon mustard seeds
- 3 to 4 green chillies (cut lengthwise)
- A pinch asafetida
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Peel and grate raw papaya. Apply salt and keep aside for a few minutes. Press lightly to remove the excess water from it. Add additional salt (if required) and lime juice.
- Heat a little oil. Add mustard seeds, asafetida and green chillies. Add the seasoning to the papaya. Mix well.
