Dapaka Kadhi

Ingredients

  • 1 cup curds
  • ½ cup chana flour
  • 1 tea spoon red chilli powder
  • ¼ tea spoon turmeric powder
  • 2 table spoons oil
  • ¼ tea spoon fenugreek seeds
  • 2 red chillies (whole)
  • 2 onions
  • 2 potatoes
  • 4 green chillies
  • ½ tea spoon baking powder
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

Instructions For The Kadhi

  • Mix curds, 2 table spoons flour, water, salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder.
  • Mix well so that no lumps are formed.
  • Heat the oil in a vessel and add fenugreek seeds and whole red chillies. Fry for few seconds and when the seasoning is ready add the curds mixture. Add pakodas to the kadhi.

Instructions For The Pakodas

  • Cut the onions and potatoes into small pieces. Add salt, the remaining chana flour, red chilli powder, turmeric, baking powder and a little water. Heat the oil in a vessel for frying and deep fry the pakodas.
