Spinach Vada
Ingredients
- Spinach leaves-10
- Cream of green coconut
- Boil potato-2
- Paneer – 2 tea spoons(finely chopped)
- Ginger garlic – green chilli paste-1 tea spoon
- Sesame seeds-1 tea spoon
- Corn seeds (boiled )- 1 bowl
- Garam masala -1 tea spoon
- Half crushed ground nut seeds-2 tea spoons
- Black pepar powder-1 tea spoon
- Coriander leaves-1 bowl
- Lemon juice-1 tea spoon
- Turmeric—1 tea spoon
- Gram flour- 1bowl
- Water of green coconut—1 bowl
- Soda-1 pinch
- Maida-1 tea spoon
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Add salt, soda, maida and coconut water in the gram flour.
- Add sesame seeds in the batter.
- Put griddle on the gas and roast spinach leaves with oil. Put aside. Heat oil and add corn seeds potato, ground nuts crush, paneer, ginger-chilly-garlic paste, coriander leaves, black pepper powder, salt , turmeric, lemon juice and garam masala and make mixture. Remove from flame. Put malai of coconut on the spinach leaves and spread 1 tea spoon mixture. Make roll or any shape like samosa.
- Deep in the batter and deep fry till it becomes brown. Put cut in the middle and serve with sauce. Or green chutney.
