Rice Flakes Pattice
Ingredients
- 2 small bowl poha (rice flakes)
- 5 potatoes
- 4 table spoons toast (crushed)
- 2 tea spoon ginger – chilli paste
- salt
- A pinch citric acid
- 1 tea spoon sugar
- ½ tea spoon garam masala
- A pinch cinnamon-cloves powder
- 2 table spoon coriander leaves
- 2 table spoon coconut desiccated
- oil for frying.
Instructions
- Wash rice flakes for 2 or 3 times and drain water in sieve.
- Take (poha) rice flakes in a plate. Add salt, ginger-chilli, citric acid, coriander leaves, coconut, sugar, garam masala and cinnamon-clove powder and mix it well.
- Make balls from mixture. Boil potatoes and remove skin. Mash it. Add salt, ginger-chilli paste and powder of toast. Make ball of potatoes mixture.
- Take one ball of potato mixture. Shape it like bowl. Put poha mixture in the potato mixture.
- Close edge and press it like pattice.
- Roll the cutlet (pattice) in bread crumbs.
- Fry them in hot oil. You can cello fry also.
- Serve it with tomato chutney or amchur chutney.
