Rice Flackes Khaman

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tea spoon sugar
  • ½ tea spoon turmeric powder
  • 2 cups rice flakes
  • 1 tea spoons garam masala
  • ½ lime
  • 2 table spoons oil
  • 1 tea spoon mustard seeds
  • 2 table spoons coriander leaves(chopped finely)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Wash the rice flakes. Mix milk, sugar and turmeric powder together . boil it.
  • When it starts boiling, add washed rice flakes, salt chilies, garam masala. When milk evaporates and lime juice. Mix properly. Remove it from the flame. Spread in a greased thali. When cool cut into pieces. Add the seasoning. Decorate with chopped coriander leaves.

Further Details

Instead of milk, sour curds can be used and instead of lime juice, citric acid can be used.
