Onion Pattice
Ingredients
- 500 grams potatoes
- 2 slice bread
- 1 lime
- Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
Ingredients For Inner Layer
- 4 onions
- 100 grams rice flakes
- ½ tea spoon green chillies
- 2 table spoons coriander leaves(finely chopped)
- ½ tea spoon ginger paste
- 1 tea spoon garam masala
- ½ tea spoon citric acid
- 1 table spoon sugar
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Boil, peel and grate potatoes. Add salt, lime juice and bread. For the stuffing, grate onions.
- Add washed rice flakes (Remove water from rice flakes). Divide the potato stuffing into small portions.
- Fill the onion stuffing in the potatoes mixture. Shape like pattice. Roll in poppy seeds. Press in boiled peas. Fry them.
Further Details
Enough for 6 people.
The inner stuffing can made by using rice flakes if onion are to avoided.
