Methi Roll
Ingredients
- 100 grams methi bhaji
- 100 grams onion (chopped)
- 50 grams coconut (desiccated)
- 50 grams khus khus
- 50 grams cashewnuts, kismis
- 1 table spoon ajwain
- ½ tea spoon jeera
- ½ tea spoon black pepper powder
- ¼ tea spoon turmeric powder
- ½ tea spoon chilli powder
- 1 tea spoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 table spoon Curd
- Oil for fry
- 1 cup maida
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Cut the methi bhaji
- Cut the cashewnuts length wise
- Crush jeera and ajwain
- Heat the oil in a vessel. Add ginger-chilli paste and chopped onion. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, black pepper powder, jeera powder and methi. Put the vessel on slow flame again for five minutes. Cool it.
- Spread the khus khus in a dish. Spread the mixture in the khus khus. Add salt, chopped coconut cashewnuts pieces and kismis and mix it.
- Blenderise the curd in other vessel.
- Take maida and add oil, salt and ajwain. Knead the dough. Roll out a puri. Spread the mixture on a puri and roll out.
- Deep fry in hot oil. Serve with curd or amchur chutney.
