Gathiya
Ingredients
- 500 grams chana flour
- 1 tea spoon pepper (powdered)
- 1 tea spoon omum (powdered)
- 1 tea spoon soda
- Oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Mix omum, pepper and flour. Heat a griddle and roast soda and salt on it.
- Boil 1½ glass water. Add soda and salt to it.
- Add enough oil to the flour. Knead the dough hard enough using boil water.
- Mix 2 tea spoons of oil to water. Use this water for soft the dough. Soften a little dough at a time and put it on the frying spoons used for making gathiya. Heat the oil in a pan. Make gathiyas by pressing the dough on the frying spoon with holes on it. Fry well.
- serve with tea or green chilli or paaiya chhin(grated) or mint chutney

papaiya chhin(sambharo) recipe - Peel and grate papaiya.Heat little oil in a pan and add papaiya(grated) roast it with salt till it becomes soft. add little sugar ,a pinch turmeric and lemon juice as per your teste.
