Crushed Dal Khaman
Ingredients
- 500 grams chana dal
- ½ tea spoon soda -bi –carbonate
- ½ tea spoon citric acid
- 8 to 10 green chillies
- 1 table spoon oil
- ½ tea spoon mustard seeds
- ½ tea spoon sesme seeds
- A pinch asafoetida
- 2 table spoons coriander leaves (for decoration)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Soak the chana dal for 4 hours. Grind it coarsely. Add salt, soda citric acid in the batter.
- Pour the batter in a greased thali. Put the dhokla for steaming. When done, remove and make cuts.
- Add seasoning and green chillies cut into long strips. Add green chillies inseasoning and spread the seasoning on the khaman. Decorate with finely chopped coriander leaves
