Chole Tikki
Ingredients
- 250 grams kabuli chana
- 400 grams potatoes
- Lime
- 2 table spoons arrow-root flour or corn flour
- 1 table spoon powdered sugar
- 150 grams green peas
- 2 table spoons desiccated coconut
- 1 table spoon cashewnuts
- 1 table spoon raisins
- 1 table spoon green chilli (paste)
- 1 table spoon sugar
- 1 table spoon garam masala
- Oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Make chhole as chole puri
- For tikkiya boil, peel and grate potatoes. Add salt ½ lime juice, arrow- root flour and powdered sugar.Mix properly
- Boil peas and add coconut, cashewnuts, raisins salt, green chillies, ½ lime sugar, garam masala and mix.
- Fill the green peas stuffing in the potatoes mixture. Make tikkiyas. Fry them or roast on a griddle toll brown on both the sides by adding oil.
- Serve with chhole.
