Chole Tikki

Ingredients

  • 250 grams kabuli chana
  • 400 grams potatoes
  • Lime
  • 2 table spoons arrow-root flour or corn flour
  • 1 table spoon powdered sugar
  • 150 grams green peas
  • 2 table spoons desiccated coconut
  • 1 table spoon cashewnuts
  • 1 table spoon raisins
  • 1 table spoon green chilli (paste)
  • 1 table spoon sugar
  • 1 table spoon garam masala
  • Oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Make chhole as chole puri
  • For tikkiya boil, peel and grate potatoes. Add salt ½ lime juice, arrow- root flour and powdered sugar.Mix properly
  • Boil peas and add coconut, cashewnuts, raisins salt, green chillies, ½ lime sugar, garam masala and mix.
  • Fill the green peas stuffing in the potatoes mixture. Make tikkiyas. Fry them or roast on a griddle toll brown on both the sides by adding oil.
  • Serve with chhole.
