Bhajiya

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chana flour (fine)
  • 1 tea spoon red chilli powder
  • ¼ tea spoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tea spoon sugar
  • 1 tea spoon rice flour
  • A pinch soda
  • 1 tea spoon dhana – jira powder
  • ¼ tea spoon garam masala
  • Vegetables such as potatoes, green chillies ,onions
  • Bananas, pumpkin,mangoes
  • Brinjal, sweet potato
  • Poi leaves, ajwain leaves
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • To make testy bhajiya first of all mix all masalas with chana flour and make a uniform batter.
  • For banana bhajiya , the batter should be a little thick.so , make little thick batter if you want to make banana bhajiya.
  • Potatoes,onions should be cut into thin slices.Banana should be cut into big pieces or thick slices.
  • Heat enough oil in a frying pan.Dip the slices (vegetables or fruits) of which bhajiyas have to be made in the batter and fry them.
  • Hot and crispy bhajiyas are ready to serve.
  • Slit the green chillies, (remove the seeds) and fill in a mixture of dhana-jeera powder, salt and sugar. for  making mango bhajiya Cut the alfanso mango into square pieces for making mango bhajiya.
  • If you want to make panner bhajiya you can do the same cut panner in to square pieces and dip the slice with batter and fry , and your delicious panner bhajiya is ready
