Radish Paratha – Mooli Paratha – Mooli Paratha

Mooli Paratha

Muli ke parathe (radish) is variation in punjabi paratha. Punjabi people has lots variation in paratha like muli paratha,Gobi paratha, cheese paratha and many more.

[Serves 3 to 4]

Ingredients For Radish paratha (Muli ke paratha)

1)    200 grams raddish (Muli ) leaves

2)    1 raddish Muli (approximately 200 grams)

3)    100 grams potatoes

4)    4 green chilies

5)    ½ tea spoon turmeric powder

6)    1 lime

7)    1 tea spoon garam masala

8)    1 tea spoon sugar

9)    200 to 250 grams wheat flour

10)  Oil

11)   Salt to taste

Method For Radish paratha (Muli  paratha)

1)    Chop the raddish leaves finely. Grate the raddish.

2)    Boil, peel and grate the potatoes. Mix it with raddish leaves.

3)    Add salt, green chillies, turmeric powder, lime juice, garam masala and sugar.

4)    Mix flour, salt and oil. Knead a soft dough. Divide the dough into small balls. Roll out a ball slightly. Place the stuffing in the centre. Bring the edge together and make into a ball again. Roll it out into a thick roti. Roast the roti on the griddle using oil.
Paratha has lot of scope in variation you can easily make your recipe better using these variation.

Muli ke parathe is very delicious Punjabi recipe, it can be served with Curd, tomato catchup  or with green phudina (mint) chutney.
