Kaju – Walnut Halwa
[Serves 4 to 5]
Ingredients
- 100 grams kaju
- 100 grams walnuts
- 2 table spoons ghee
- 100 grams sugar
- 50 grams mawa
- A little cardamom powder
Instructions
- Powder the kajus anad the walnuts in the nut cutter. Make a coarse powder. Roast it in 1 table spoon of ghee.
- Add roasted mawa to this. Then add the sugar and the cardamom powder. Cook for some time.
- When it thickens add 1 table spoon of ghee and remove the halwa from flame. Spread in a greased dish.
