Stuffed Toast

Ingredients

  • 150 grams paneer
  • 1 big onion
  • 2 capsicums
  • 2 table spoons butter
  • ½ cup tomato ketchup
  • 2 table spoons chilli powder
  • 1 big packet sandwich bread
  • Cheese
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Chop the paneer, onion and capsicums finely.
  • Heat the butter in a vessel. Add the onions and fry for few minutes.
  • Add the capsicums, paneer, tomato ketchup, chilli sauce, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well.
  • Toast the bread slices and cut them into small rounds with the help of a katori.
  • Apply butter to it, spread the mixture, and cheese over one slice. Cover with other buttered toast.
  • Toast the sandwiches in a toaster of by cooking on a griddle until they are crisp and brown on either side.

Further Details

Bake the sandwich in hot oven for 10 minutes before serving. Serve hot.

Serves for 4-5 people.
